5th Womyn, GNC, and Trans Game Powderhorn Park June 2015

Part of the way we work to change the world is acknowledging that the playing field is not always an equitable place. For womyn, gender non-conforming, and trans people we know that the world of sports does not always honor our skills or create spaces for our potential to grow. LWTC takes seriously these realities and attempts to subvert gendered inequities one game at a time.

The womyn, GNC, and trans game happens quarterly. Children who identify as girls, GNC, or trans are highly encouraged to participate. Childcare will be provided.

Allies are welcome to come out and cheer us on! Here are some other ways allies can help support.
1) Help run childcare while parents/caretakers play.
2) Volunteer to bring food so we can eat together after the game!
3) Clean up.

Our summer 2017 games will be July 30th and August 20th at Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis (by the baseball fields). Play begins at 11 am followed by a cookout at 12:30.  All are welcome. Bring a drink/dish to share if you are able!
